Jackey works as a legal assistant at Brandeis. She specialises in criminal law, but also regularly deals with personal and family law.

Jackey studied law at the University of Groningen. During her studies, she volunteered at the Legal Consultation Hour for Prisoners Groningen in the PI Veenhuizen, where she provided free legal advice to prisoners. Jackey has also had various part-time jobs in the legal profession as a project assistant and legal secretary. During that period, her interest in criminal and family law grew.
In 2025, Jackey completed her Togamaster’s degree with a specialisation in criminal law at the University of Groningen. The Togamaster programme offered Jackey the unique opportunity to combine her specialisation in criminal law with various internships at the judiciary, the Public Prosecution Service and the legal profession. This internship period was concluded with a six-month internship at the Groningen District Court in the Family & Youth department, where she gained relevant practical experience.

Edine works as a legal assistant at Brandeis. She specialises in various aspects of information law, including privacy, intellectual property law, freedom of the press and platform regulation.

Edine studied Business Administration and Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her studies, she assisted with the WODC report ‘Usefulness, necessity, design and costs of a (revolving) litigation fund for collective actions’. During that period, she developed an interest in fundamental rights and how they can be safeguarded through collective actions.

In 2024, Edine completed her Master’s degree in Information Law at the University of Amsterdam with honours. There, she developed a strong interest in the increasing influence of technology on society. In that context, she wrote her thesis on AI surveillance in supermarkets, which was awarded a thesis prize. She gained relevant practical experience during internships in the legal profession.

Annemijn works as a legal assistant and specialises in Information Law.

In 2024 Annemijn obtained her Master’s degree in Private Law at the VU University of Amsterdam. During her Master’s degree, Annemijn was able to further develop her interest in intellectual property law. Annemijn also wrote her master’s thesis in the field of intellectual property law, namely on upcycling in the context of trademark law.

During her studies, Annemijn undertook various legal extracurricular activities and gained work experience in legal practice. Annemijn also gained experience during internships at law firms.

Within the field of information law, Annemijn focuses on various topics, including privacy and intellectual property.

Marie-Claire Vogels is a legal assistant at bureau Brandeis and specialises in information law and private law.

In 2025, Marie-Claire completed her Master’s degree in Information Law at the University of Amsterdam. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Private Law at the same university. Previously, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Utrecht Law College, the honours programme of the Bachelor of Laws at Utrecht University.

During her studies, Marie-Claire was actively involved as a board member of study association Sirius and as a legal advisor at Clinic Law Incubator, a legal aid clinic focused on information law. In addition, Marie-Claire gained work experience at several law firms and worked as a student editor at Boek9.
