Marlies has worked in the legal profession as a secretary for many years. First in permanent employment and later, from 1993 to 2017 as a freelance secretary and from 2017 again in permanent employment at a small, niche law firm. In 1993, the term ‘self-employed’ did not even exist yet so she was a pioneer! During that freelance period, she regularly met lawyers and secretaries who now also work at bureau Brandeis. It was therefore a feast of recognition when she joined the Brandeis office team from 1 August 2023.

After graduating as an executive secretary, Famke entered the legal practice. She first worked at another small-scale law firm in Amsterdam. Because of the atmosphere and collegiality in the workplace, Famke chose agency Brandeis in April 2023.

Marieke Boersen joined bureau Brandeis since 1 January 2019 as a legal secretary. She has been working in the legal profession since 2003 with a short-term excursion at an architectural firm. The legal world attracted her so much that she decided to return after a year.

Linda worked for various international law offices, but feels more at home at the small-scale bureau Brandeis. Linda joined bureau Brandeis since 2017.

Until Diana switched to the legal profession 17 years ago, she worked in the tourism branch. Diana speaks the English, French and German language fluently. Her dedication, planning and cheerfulness make her the cornerstone of the practice. Diana joined bureau Brandeis since 2014.

In the past, Desiree worked as department secretary and in financial reporting. About 17 years ago, she moved on to the legal branche and started working with Spigt Litigators.  Her enthusiasm, work mentality and her cheerfulness make Desiree’s  presence indispensable for bureau Brandeis. Desiree joined bureau Brandeis since 2014.

Marieke is a legal secretary at bureau Brandeis since it was founded. Before that, she worked for three years at an international law firm. Not only does she have an Office Management degree with distinction, she has also done a Legal Practice course. Sometimes she even talks like a lawyer.

Her can do mentality combined with her relaxed style make her essential for the daily work at bureau Brandeis.
