Lisa Oostinga is an attorney at bureau Brandeis and a member of the Information Law team. She specializes in matters concerning press freedom and reputation management, intellectual property (including copyright, trademark and design law, and trade name law), corporate law, and attachment proceedings. She represents clients in complex and often urgent disputes, many of which have an international dimension.
Lisa is known for her personal and approachable style. She combines clarity with insight, allowing her to quickly grasp the essence of complex issues and work effectively towards solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in civil litigation, Lisa brings extensive expertise to her practice. Before entering the legal profession, she worked for many years at the Amsterdam District Court as a senior legal counsel in the preliminary relief proceedings division, where she dealt with a wide range of civil law matters, including media law, intellectual property, corporate law, public procurement law, and attachment proceedings. She also served as deputy legal counsel at the Regional Disciplinary Tribunal for Healthcare in Amsterdam.
Lisa obtained her law degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and subsequently completed various postgraduate courses in corporate, media, and intellectual property law.
Since 2025, she has been practicing as an attorney at bureau Brandeis.
