Jacob van de Velde is a junior associate at bureau Brandeis. He specializes in information law and privacy.
He obtained a master in public international law and constitutional and administrative law at the Free University in Amsterdam. After having worked for a while in the IT-sector, he continued his legal career with a master in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam. Jacob therefore has knowledge on both technology and law. He wrote his thesis on the neutrality of internet intermediaries.
Jacob joined bureau Brandeis in December 2017.
