Alexander van Lunteren

Attorney

Alexander van Lunteren is an attorney at Brandeis and specialises in information law.

During law school, his interest focused on the interplay between law and society. As a student mentor, he provided legal assistance to the legal clinic. He also studied for a semester in Washington D.C. (Georgetown Law) and completed his Bachelor at the University of Amsterdam cum laude. From a social interest in the freedom of expression and the right to privacy, he followed the master’s in information law at the Institute for Information Law (IViR).

During his studies Alexander also immersed himself in the practice of law during internships and extracurricular programmes. He was active within the Amsterdam Law Firm and won the Amsterdam Law Trials moot court competition. This passion also led to his remained involvement in pleading competitions as a coach.

Alexander has been working at bureau Brandeis since 2021.
